Assam GNM 1st Round Offline Counselling 2026-27
Counselling Dates, Rank-wise Schedule, Reporting Time & Venue
Directorate of Health Services (DHS), Assam has released an Educational Notice regarding the First Round Offline Counselling for selection of candidates for admission into the 1st Year GNM Training Course under the 26 Government GNM Training Schools of Assam for the academic session 2026-2027.
The counselling will be conducted for candidates who appeared in the Common Entrance Examination 2026 of GNM Training Course conducted by Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS), Guwahati.
The 1st Round Offline Counselling for GNM admission 2026-27 is scheduled from 23 September 2026 to 29 September 2026.

Candidates whose names/ranks are included in the merit list and who have fulfilled all eligibility criteria are requested to appear for the offline counselling according to the schedule given below.

📑 Documents Required for Counselling
Candidates must bring all the original testimonials/documents at the time of offline counselling. The notice specifically mentions the following documents:
- Mark Sheet & Pass Certificate of 10+2 examination
- Admit Card of HSLC Examination or Birth Certificate
- Caste Certificate
- Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC)
- EWS Certificate, if applicable
- PwBD Certificate, if applicable
- Passport Size Photograph
- Admit Card of GNM Entrance Examination
- Score Card of GNM Entrance Examination
- Other relevant original documents
- Self-attested photocopies of all the above documents
Candidates must produce the required original certificates/testimonials before the Counselling Committee at the time of counselling. Candidates should also carry self-attested photocopies of the required documents.

Candidates who appeared in the GNM Common Entrance Examination 2026, obtained the required eligibility score and have fulfilled all eligibility criteria for admission into the 1st Year GNM Training Course can appear for counselling according to their category and rank.
Candidates should attend the counselling strictly according to the date, rank range and reporting time mentioned in the official schedule.
